An incredible technique for thicker, longer and naturally fuller looking lashes, resulting in a beautiful and simply gorgeous extension of your own lashline.

This is a 100% pain-free procedure and does not damage your lashes in any way if applied skilfully by someone like myself, resulting in lashes that are safe in the shower, while swimming, sleeping or exercising. It is also perfectly safe for people with allergies, who suffer with hyper-sensitivity around the eye area.

The lashes come in different lengths, and thickness, and are applied using a specially formulated bonding agent. It involves bonding one synthetic lash at a time onto your existing eyelashes, creating a dramatic, yet natural-looking effect, which will accentuate the natural beauty and colour of one’s eyes.

When properly applied, lash extensions can be worn throughout the year with minimal monthly maintenance. Touch-ups are recommended after the initial full set application, to refill any lashes that have naturally fallen out to maintain the full, thick appearance of a new set of lashes. A visit to your lash professional is recommended every 3 – 4 weeks based on your own natural lash growth cycle. Though the life cycle of a single lash varies between 60 to 120 days, factors such as your eyelash characteristics, lifestyle, as well as the general care of your lashes will affect how long your lashes last.

Frequently Asked Questions

Lash Extensions are a fabulous new way to extend the length and thickness of natural eyelashes, and are a convenient and beautiful substitute to the daily use of mascara. The process involves attaching a single tapered, synthetic lash that is bonded to a single natural lash with a specially formulated bonding agent. The final result is a natural and gorgeous extension of your own lash line!

The application of Eyelash Extensions takes 2 hours to apply for the first full set and 1 hour for fills/touch ups.

When applied properly, the eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Everyone’s experience will differ based on day to day activities, and how well you look after them. Overall touch-ups should only be required every 3 – 4 weeks.

  • It is recommended that you do NOT wash your eye area for about 12- 24 hours after the eyelash application.
  • Using a lash wand to comb the lashes every morning is recommended. Gently using an eyelash brush will help improve the look and length of the lash extensions. Furthermore, it will keep your lashes and extensions from clumping or sticking together.
  • Do NOT rub your eyes. By rubbing your eyes you can rip your extensions out or remove your natural lashes and the extensions that are adhered to them.
  • Avoid any oil based cleansers, lotion or make-up remover.
  • If applying mascara (water-soluble) do so from the middle to tip, avoiding the root area entirely

Like all the other hair on our body, we lose lashes naturally every day. The good news is they also replenish themselves gradually day by day. When some lashes fall off, there are plenty of new ones that have come out, ready for me to replace/fill. That is when you need to come in to be beautified again. Some people prefer the full look all the time and come in every 2 weeks, some prefer coming every 3 or 4 weeks. You can decide how often you would like to come, depending on your budget and time limits.

Fills are recommended every 3 – 4 weeks, however some people prefer the full look all the time and come in every 2 weeks. You can decide how often you would like to come, depending on your budget and time limits.

Mascara is normally not needed with lash extensions.  Mascara should only be used when a touch-up is drawing near.  Water-soluble mascara can be worn; however constant use of mascara may shorten the lifespan of lashes. Waterproof mascara is NOT recommended to use, as it will dissolve the bonding agent on the lashes.

This is NOT recommended, as the synthetic lashes already come with a curve to it. The curler may also agitate the adhesion of the bonding agent, resulting in earlier touch-ups/fills of lash extensions.

When applied properly, lash extensions will not harm natural lashes in any way. The technique used allows natural lashes to grow and flourish while the extensions are on. This technique requires numerous different steps during the application process so that each extension is adhered to a single natural lash in order to prevent the disruption of the lash growth cycle.

The lash extensions are glued approximately 1 – 2mm away from your skin. Neither the synthetic lash nor the glue ever comes into contact with your skin.

The bonding agent I use is an incredible product and is suitable for hyper-allergic eyes, which means contact lens wearers can safely get Eyelash Extensions as well. Allergic reactions to the bonding agent are uncommon and if/when they do present, are easily treated.

It is best to try and avoid any oil based cleansers, lotion or make-up remover, as well as water-proof mascara.  Any products containing oils will break down the bonding agent resulting in earlier touch-ups/fills.

Yes, you absolutely can! The bonding agent I use is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, exercise etc. Special care is required but overall maintenance is low. It is recommended however that you do not wash your eye area for about 12- 24 hours after the eyelash application.

Lash Treatments

The Lash Lift too is a revolutionary treatment, which will make you toss out that awful manual eyelash curler for good. You know what I’m talking about, that store bought curler that catches and pinches your skin whilst using it.

The Lash Lift is an hour-long treatment along the lines of the old-fashioned perm. But this is WAY WAY BETTER! It entails applying the lashes to a silicone mould. This lifts each lash individually, adding an appearance of volume to your eyelashes. Upturned eyelashes obviously look longer than very straight ones. Creating a curl at the lash line not only achieves a fuller, longer looking lash, but also a wider eyed, fresh look. You can also choose the size of curl you require (small, medium or large)

The lashes are applied to the silicone mould for about 40 minutes. It isn’t painful and is NOT damaging to your own lashes at all. Your eyes have to stay closed for the duration of the treatment. For aftercare it is best to not wear eye make-up or get the lashes wet for a minimum of 12 hours.

The lift lasts between 4-7 weeks. The life cycle of a lash is about 60 to 120 days, so as your lashes grow and fall out, the effects become less noticeable.

Frequently Asked Questions

No the Lash lift is a new, improved procedure. Whilst the chemical procedure is identical to a perm, the difference is in the results. The silicone pads used for this new procedure lifts the lash from the root in either a straight or curled, upwards direction that produces length and a bright eyed enhanced look.

No the treatment is totally painless.  Your eyes are closed for the entire treatment, giving you a chance to relax.

It absolutely is! The lashes are lifted onto our specially shaped silicone pads before products are applied, and the lotions used are not in contact with the skin at all

A lash lift can take anything from 45 minutes to an hour from beginning to end. Should you decide to have your eyelashes tinted which will enhance the effect of your lash lift, the appointment time may go on a slightly longer than an hour

A Lash Lift can last 4-7 weeks but can vary from person to person.  There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 6-8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use off harsh products or heat.  If you find that your lift does not last the full 2 months, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks of having the initial treatment, but not before

This too can vary from person to person. Very few people have a reaction to the lotion, however, what one person reacts to, another is fine with. This is why you can request to have a patch test prior to your appointment.  A patch test is quick and simple.  It consists of placing 2 drops of lotions behind the ear for 15 minutes. If any subsequent irritation occurs over the next 24 hours such as redness, itching or inflammation, one will need to re assess the possibility of having the treatment done

Yes. However, we will ask you to remove them temporarily during the treatment as the eyes will be closed throughout

Yes, but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for a minimum of 12 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a water based, non water proof mascara is advised

Gently, using mild products. Always wait a minimum of 12 hours to do this, straight after the treatment

No. There will be no need for an eyelash curler as this treatment gives a much better result

A lash lift will begin to naturally drop after about 1.5 – 2 months and your lashes will be back to their natural look, and will not look out of place. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of one month if you feel you need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state

Yes, anyone who is interested in enhancing the look of their natural lashes can have the treatment

Microblading can dramatically correct lost eyebrow hairs and is excellent for those wanting to enhance or define their existing brows.

Microblading is a procedure which is done by using a hand tool with ultra fine needles to create single individual hair strokes. These hair strokes are gently etched into the skin, giving an incredibly natural and realistic look. Unlike permanent makeup, Microblading is less invasive and is considered semi-permanent. Microblading typically lasts 1-3 years, depending on skin type and age.

Microblading can dramatically correct lost eyebrow hairs and is excellent for those wanting to enhance or define their existing brows. It is also a great solution for people who have little to no eyebrows due to over tweezing, chemotherapy, alopecia, or any other condition that would cause the hair to become very thin or sparse.

Shapes are measured and drawn on before work commences using the golden ratio principle. This method is used to achieve the perfect brow shape for each individual wanting their brows enhanced. A combination of this method and listening to what the client wants, will help me achieve that perfect brow to suit your face. I will advise on the perfect shape for you, as well as take your personal taste and preference into account. Pigments used are chosen to match the natural or desired brow colour. Skin tone is also taken into consideration.

Frequently Asked Questions

For the first Microblading appointment, the entire procedure should take about 2-2.5 hours. After consulting with the client,  I shape and style the brows for client approval, followed by the pigment colour selection. Once the client is satisfied with the choices, we begin the procedure.

The client needs to come in for a follow up visit in order to have any minor necessary touch ups. In some cases, no touch ups are required. However, If you do need a touch up, the second appointment takes place after 4-6 weeks after the first appointment, and takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete.

The eyebrow area will be slightly red after the procedure and the pigment colour will appear very dark. This is normal for the procedure and part of the healing process. The colour will fade by up to 30% as it heals. In the following days, the eyebrows will continue to be dark and you will notice slight scabbing. Do not pick at the scabs as this may damage the skin and the end result of the microbladed area. The eyebrows will lighten up in colour as it heals. No down time is required after the microblading procedure, you could literally go off to a dinner party once the appointment is finished, as there is no swelling.  It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month for the colour to fully set in.

You will notice the colour is very light right after the two weeks after healing, and the skin will have an opaque milky looking quality to it. This is known as the milk skin and is common in tattooing. This is due to the tissue still healing from the inside out even though the surface of the skin is healed. The true colour will reveal itself once healed.

Yes! A touch up session after 4-6 weeks is necessary as everyone heals differently and results will vary. Certain areas may not retain the pigment from the first appointment and will need to be refilled. Pigment colour may need to be adjusted, brow thickness and more strokes can be added. Individuals with oily skin often require a deeper shade during the touch up session as the oils tend to lighten the pigment. Most importantly, your touch up session is when we refine your brow to ensure it looks perfect and retains the colour.

The pain level for the procedure is considered low to none.  Prior to the procedure  I will apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area, which is constantly reapplied during the microblading procedure. Everyone responds differently to anesthetic; depending on the client, the feeling of the procedure has been described as light cat scratches to not feeling anything.

After the procedure, slight redness in the area is normal.  Clients describe the area feeling similar to a light sunburn.

Since microblading pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, the area will naturally fade overtime.  Microblading typically lasts 1-3 years, depending on skin type and age. Each individual’s colour retention within the skin will vary. To maintain the brows looking fresh, a touch up is suggested every 12-18 months.

I take all proper precautions for a safe session by using sterilized equipment and new needles in a sanitized environment.  Should clients follow our pre and post care instructions, there should be minimal risks or complications .  Although allergic reactions to the pigments are rare, it could be possible for certain individuals. We suggest a pigment patch test for individuals who have high skin sensitivities. A patch tests should be performed 5-7 days prior.

As with all cosmetic procedures, individuals should not make their choices lightly.  We always recommend clients do their research, understand the procedure and compare different therapist’s work and portfolio when making their decisions. As a brow technician, I will do my utmost to shape and style the eyebrows to the clients satisfaction prior to the procedure. Every effort will be made to achieve an even appearance, but please realise our faces are never perfectly symmetrical. Uneven appearance can be amended during the touch up session, as well as pigment discolouration. Microbladed brows will eventually fade away if no additional touch ups are done.

In order to achieve the best results, it is best to follow the pre and post care instructions.

Prior to your procedure, clients are advised to do the following:

  • Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 72 hours.
  • Avoid tanning so we can assess your natural skin tone.
  • No face scrubs or chemical peels at least two weeks prior.
  • Feel free to come in with your brow makeup on so I can see your every day look you prefer. Reference pictures of shapes and colours of brows are always welcomed. I will then work together with you to create the perfect brows!

Post your procedure, clients are advised to do the following:

  • DO NOT touch, wet or apply any other product for the following 5 days AFTER your treatment as this can affect your healed result & disrupt the healing process & pigment retention.
  • ONLY AFTER 5 days you can apply the barrier cream provided 3 to 4 times a day with a clean cotton bud for approximately 10 days.
  • Clean brows with a clean damp cotton pad ONLY.
  • Remember that peeling, flaking, fading & loss of pigment can occur during the next 28 days but DO NOT pick any scabs as this can affect your end result.
  • All of the above can happen and is completely normal, equally you may have little or no peeling/scabbing.
  • Your follow up procedure is vital & part of the process 4-6 weeks after your initial procedure.

What a difference this can make to one’s face. Wake up and you are basically ready to go! A treatment like this can cut down your morning ritual of putting on make-up by nearly half the time. It’s fantastic!

Tinting gives the eyes definition and lets you go without mascara for a few weeks until your eyelashes naturally fall out and are replaced by new ones (this happens whether they’re tinted or not). Make it a routine treatment in summer if you’re in and out of the water.

Combine the treatment with Lash Extensions before they’re applied for even more incredible results.

Spray tanning is a healthy form of sunless tanning, where a fine golden mist is sprayed onto your body, and dried immediately. This temporary effect generally lasts from 6-8 days and is completely safe for your skin!

The product I use is of the highest quality, guaranteed to give you a golden, natural looking spray tan, all year round! Glow from top to bottom, in 15 minutes. The product I use takes 6-8 hours to process. After that, the developed bronzer is ready to be washed off, resulting in that natural, golden glow spray tan you dream of, making you feel brilliant, and perfectly sun-kissed! In addition to looking like a golden goddess, I have found the spray tan boosts confidence, allowing you to feel comfortable wearing any outfit in your cupboard. I also like to think of it as losing 5kg in 15 minutes!

Yip, a tan can make you look slimmer, more toned, and best of all hide any uneven skin tone.

Lying in the sun today is just not an option anymore. Firstly, it is a pain, and secondly the repercussions of sun damage are most times irreversible. Too much time outdoors can put you at risk of wrinkles, age spots, sun spots, scaly patches called actinic keratosis, and skin cancer.

When you soak up the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays, it speeds up the ageing of your skin and raises your risk of skin cancer. UV light damages the fibres in your skin called elastin. When that happens, it begins to sag and stretch.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, no, and no again. The product I use is an imported brand of the highest quality. It is water based, has no alcohol, no oil and is a fragrance free product, which will mean you won’t be left with an awful smell, should you have to go to work after having the spray tan in the morning

The tan will last for about 6 to 8 days. As long as you follow the after care instructions, you should have a natural golden glow spray tan though out that 6-8 day period

  1. Exfoliate your entire body either the night before or the morning of your appointment
  2. Shave or wax at least 8 hours before your tan
  3. Do not use any creams, oils, deodorant or perfume before your tan. I do have make up remover available, so you are able to remove make up should you be wearing any.
  1. Wear dark coloured underwear to be tanned in. I do have disposable g-strings if you would prefer to use something you can throw away afterwards.
  1. Bring slip slops and dark loose fitting clothing to change into after the appointment
  1. Avoid long, hot showers and baths
  2. Avoid swimming in pools with a high chlorine content
  3. Use a water based sunblock when on the beach or swimming
  4. Moisturise daily
  5. Gentle exfoliation every second or third day will ensure that your tan fades evenly
  6. Avoid using tissue oil and shower gels, witch hazel, Retin A. Do not apply any depilatory creams or any products containing alcohol after the spray tan.

The best way to do that, is to lie in a bath for about 30 minutes, and then to exfoliate gently with an exfoliating sponge, (which I sell, which is brilliant!!!) This should remove the tan entirely

Yes, you can choose to have a natural golden glow spray tan on the bottom half (legs) or top half (torso and arms)

Yes. The main ingredient, Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), is a sugar cane derivative which results in the sunless tan. When DHA is applied to the skin, it only penetrates the top layer of skin — it does not absorb into the body or bloodstream

After assessing your skin tone, I will recommend a specific tint to use, but ultimately the decision is up to you! It is never recommended to go too dark from your natural skin colour, however should you want to be dark, I would warn you that the tan may not fade evenly, as you would have chosen a tint that is too dark for your skin, and could possibly come out looking blotchy towards the end period of the tan.

The appointment can last between 15-25 minutes

I recommend having the tan 1-2 days before the event for that perfect golden glow spray tan

No, the product is water based and washes out easily of any fabric

No, you will need to use a water based SPF if you intend on going into the sun

  1. Wait for 6 to 8 hours before you bath or shower the developed bronzer off
  2. Do not exercise, this will result in sweating which can affect the outcome of the tan
  3. Do not apply lotions or make up in the first 6 to 8 hours
  4. Do not wear tight fitting clothing in the first 6 to 8 hours
  5. When drying, dab the skin lightly to dry, rather than rub with the towel
  6. Use a non-oily moisturising cream
